The recent collaboration between agencies from across the country has resulted in the establishment of a new cybersecurity center in Gulfport, Mississippi. Deidre Harrison, Deputy Comptroller in the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), highlighted several interesting projects that are being carried out at the Treasury in collaboration with other agencies. These include the Office of the Tax Service's Center of Excellence for Payment Integrity and the work done with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to adapt a process to a new solution. The Tax Service's “Don't Pay” service is also an example of how to develop a consultancy-type shared services model for other agencies.
